The Great Path

Right Beginnings…

Begin with the End in Mind

Stephen Covey

So what is the end goal, that to which so many strive… and yet so few achieve? What is the secret to happiness, liberation, perfection, or whatever you want to call it? What is the answer to the question, men have sought for the ages… How do you set your soul free?

Many of us think that something so powerful and so profoundly life changing must be very complicated, or very hard to find, and so we incorrectly assume that one either has to search for the answer one’s entire life, or it is so difficult to find that only a few gifted individuals can attain it. Some of us have strived for years, making little success… it must be really hard, so we assume.

Remember many years ago before the principles of aerodynamics were understood, how hard it was for people to create airplanes. In fact it was impossible, until the Wright Brothers supported by Oscar Chanute discovered the secret to flight. They were so successful that nowadays we take flight for granted.

So what is the answer, the simple underlying secret to happiness. The answer is so simple, and it has been staring you in the face your entire life, here it is…

The Great Secret

Find your happiness and you have found liberation — because liberation is happiness.

That’s it.

That’s all.

Lesson over… go be free.

Is this really the great answer? In theory yes.

And in practice? The same actually.

Then you may ask, well if it is really that simple, why don’t we all do it?

Now you’re getting to the heart of the issue… the answer is simple, and holds a great secret. Here it is… Because we don’t feel happy.

And that, is the beginning of the Great Path, and the reason it exists. We know how we ought to feel. What we don’t know is how to feel that way, in the challenging world we live in.

Now understand I’m not talking about a Delusional Disorder here. Where a person forgets about reality and just feels happy out of ignorance. This is more sophisticated. It is basically being free of negative or dark emotions. And that leads us to the second Great Secret…

The Second Great Secret

Remove the Shackles of Darkness, and you’ll be free

What does that cryptic message mean?

Very simple when you understand the ancient symbols and their meanings.

The Ancient Symbols

Darkness = Negative emotions
e.g. Shame, Fear, Anger, Hatred, Envy, Lust

Light = Positive emotions
e.g. Love, Joy, Bliss, Being in the Flow

Quick Rule to Identify Light:

It it makes you feel joy, it is light

Quick Rule to Identify Darkness:

If it forces you to do something, it is darkness

The shackles of darkness are negative situations, relationships, activities, and circumstances that make you feel negative emotions. Negative emotions include feelings of shame, fear, anger, hatred, envy or lust.

It is very difficult to live a life of happiness if you are living in a negative environment. Therefore the first step you need to take on your journey of liberation is to liberate yourself from oppressive environments.

While this may seem challenging at first, you will discover that it is easier than you think to make a change for the better. In the Great Way we teach you how to bring about a positive change in your environment.

The Third Great Secret

The secret to happiness is to transmute inner darkness to light

The next step on your journey of liberation is to liberate your inner soul. This is your inner mind, the place inside yourself where you sense your existence.

Often our souls are filled with darkness. We feel ashamed of our bodies, or our finances, we feel inferior because others have more money than we do. We feel afraid of the future, or life circumstances. We let the media influence us and awaken vices such as greed, envy, and lust. These inner emotions shackle our souls, making us feel burdened without control over our lives.

We want to be happy, but we don’t feel happy — so we suffer.

So what is the solution?

It is profoundly simple.

Transform your negative emotions into positive emotions and your soul will be free.

Transform your inner darkness into light.

Think not that man is earth-born,
though come from the earth he may be.

Man is light-born spirit.
But, without knowing, he can never be free.

Darkness surrounds the light-born.
Darkness fetters (shackles) the Soul.
Only the one who is seeking
may ever hope to be free.

Enoch
(Also known as the three times Greatest
The Greatest King, Greatest Priest, and Greatest Philosopher)

So there you have it. The secret to happiness. Liberate yourself from oppressive environments and transform your inner darkness into light.

And once you have done that, you will have completed the great work, and will be what the ancients called, Enlightened i.e. Living within Light… Living within Happiness.

So you can see the great secret truly is happiness, and the rest of this section is dedicated to providing you with a range of techniques you can use to eliminate the power of darkness, and to finally live with a soul set free.
